Tour of Britain 2023 - Event Support

The Tour of Britain arrived in Felixstowe on Thursday 7th September with both the start and the finish hosted by the town and riders navigating the roads of Suffolk.

On the day of the Tour I provided event support including preparation of the Tour Village site, supplier communications and break down after the event.

In the build up to the Tour I was involved in numerous ways including:

• Creating a Business Toolkit to encourage local businesses to make the most of the opportunities the Tour would bring.

• Managing the comms plan for Suffolk County Council; writing and distributing press releases as the various milestones were reached and liaising with press for maximum engagement.

• Building and managing the website and social media channels for the ‘Taste of the Tour’.
