Love Felixstowe Festival 23/24

The Love Felixstowe Festival was held over the 2-6th September in the build up to the arrival of The Tour of Britain on the 7th Sept. It was organised by East Suffolk Council and Felixstowe BID with support from Felixstowe Town Council and Suffolk County Council.

I provided complete event support in the build up from May onwards.

Working with Felixstowe BID and their partners I was part of a three person team with full responsibility for the event.

We produced the time table and logistics for the festival as well as sourcing suppliers and entertainers to position around the town and seafront.

A complete EMP was produced that allowed for road closures, health and safety and TENs.

During the days leading up to the event I was onsite to meet suppliers, dress the marquee, manage rubbish removal and install various interactive elements and decorations. I provided onsite support on every day of the festival from the early hours of the morning until close and packed down afterwards.

In addition I created and managed the Love Felixstowe website to update with the ever growing programme as well as collatoral design and print for the various banners, posters and flyers.

The event was a huge success with thousands of people flocking to Felixstowe over the weekend.
