The Big Hoot & 2.0 IT
Two Point Zero IT are a young, vibrant team of IT professionals working in Ipswich. They were keen to get involved with a project or event within their local community.
I took some time to explore their motivations, expectations, requirements and budget before identifying the St Elizabeth Hospice Big Hoot Art Trail as the perfect activity on which to invest their time, loyalties and money. The art trail was a fantastically run event that involved the installation of painted, sponsored owls around Ipswich. The Hospice were a great partner to work with and they naturally provided some great opportunities to maximise company investment and involvement.
‘Feeling Hoot, Hoot, Hoot!’
Two Point Zero’s involvement with The Big Hoot created some great PR opportunities as well as team bonding and development - all whilst raising money for a fantastic local cause.
My ongoing role was to make sure that TwoPointZero made the most of every opportunity offered - this included developing a robust social media plan, PR, website data capture and involvement in the various events offered including the Big Hoot launch, team building trail challenge and concluding auction. We also ran a story writing competition during the trail to engage with local school children and their parents.
