CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON & CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EVENT - coal dropS yard, kings cross, london

Coal Drops Yard is a shopping complex and privately owned public space that forms part of the King's Cross Central development scheme in London.

As a celebration of their first Christmas, the CDY management company commissioned a shopping and light switch on with free entertainment for shoppers and public.

A stage and full sound/lighting system was erected in the yard and a programme of festive entertainment sourced and scheduled.

Acts included The London Gay Mens Choir, London Brass, a flash-mob choir and various workshops.

The event was brought in on budget and well received by the public with over 1300 people attending between 5.30pm and 9pm.
